Andrew Glazer is an award-winning journalist and documentary filmmaker who has reported from more than 20 countries. He's founder and CEO of Mission Critical Productions, a full-service production company focusing on documentaries, long-form news pieces and nonfiction series; and he has been working as a freelance show-runner, director and producer. Before that, he helped run the The New York Times video unit producing high-profile news and feature short-form documentaries. He was senior producer on the team that launched VICE News, producing and overseeing production of long-form international and investigative video reports and leading breaking news coverage of Israel's 2014 war in Gaza; the 2016 Presidential Primaries; and the Oregon standoff.

Glazer spent seven years an investigative producer for iconic reporter Dan Rather at his weekly cable news magazine, Dan Rather Reports. He was nominated for three Emmys and won in 2010 for an investigation revealing how Iran had been evading US sanctions. He was a staff writer for The Los Angeles Times; the Herald News of New Jersey; The Record of New Jersey and The Associated Press in Los Angeles. In 2006, Glazer was awarded a six-month Fulbright fellowship to teach journalism in Bolivia.

Glazer lives in Brooklyn and teaches short documentary production at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.
